Our History
In 1999, Partners in Learning, Inc. was founded under the leadership and vision of Dr. Kathleen McCabe-Odri, BCBA-D, a leading Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Southern New Jersey. As a not-for-profit organization formed to further assist young children and their families, our focus has always been on those we serve. Our innovative services are provided in both home and non-segregated classrooms. This type of programming is a departure from traditional or conventional programs, which instruct children in their schools only. We understand the critical need to provide seamless services from school to the home environment.
Partners In Learning owns and operates three inclusive learning locations, Country Acres Private Preschool in Williamstown, NJ, Cherrywood Academy and Private Preschool, located in Gloucester Twp, NJ, and Partners in Learning @ Northfield in Northfield, NJ. All facilities offer full or half-day Nursery and Pre-K programs as well as child care services before and after school - Cherrywood also offers a full or half-day Kindergarten class. The schools operate as full time inclusion programs. In addition, Partners In Learning provides outreach services to students in their public school districts, both at home and also in the classroom.
Our Learning Philosophy
At Partners in Learning, Inc., we believe children are best taught in a caring atmosphere rich with hands on activities
that make learning fun. A child learns and grows through experience, and we have created a setting which builds confidence,
with lessons that are embedded with interesting and stimulating goals. We are dedicated to providing young children
with a successful first school experience. Our nurturing, qualified staff provides each child with an enriching environment
filled with developmentally appropriate learning opportunities. Our curriculum uniquely challenges a child to problem solve
through individual and small group activities. Our objective is for every child to gain the needed social skills and pre-academic development necessary to cultivate a lifetime of joy in learning!
